It’s part of the love languages….and everyone forgets about it.
I’d like to take a moment to share with one easy step you can do today (like right now) to demonstrate that you are dedicated to your love.
Why is dedication important in your relationship?
It’s a life force for you both. And when used correctly, its really one of the love languages. So that you can use it to show love to your partner on a daily basis.
But let’s back up for a minute. For starters most disconnected and distracted couples have forgotten this vital ingredient and they definitely are not using it as a love language. They figure their wedding vows that they shared oh, 15 years ago, are enough.
I’m here to say. That’s not enough.
That’s like planting 15 years worth of carrot seeds in your garden and then forgetting to pull them up when they’ve grown. You can’t expect there to be carrots to eat! They would all be rotten!
I’d like for you to consider that they are disconnected and distracted because they have not shown dedication to each other since then. They are not harvesting. They are simply ignoring their love.
Have hope though! My tips are really easy and the more you do these small things, the bigger your love will grow which will make it 100% better than it already is! Are you as excited as I am?
Let’s get into it.
Tip #1 for getting more dedication in your relationship:
Choose them over your friends. (In real life and on social media)
Nothing will demonstrate love and dedication better than giving your undivided time and attention.
And choosing to spend time with your love over your friends is the fastest way to do it.
How? It’s easy. When you are together, do not be on social media or texting other people. Just be together.
Silence is perfectly okay, but be together. With no distractions.
This way if you ask her a question or want to tell him something you won’t have to compete with a phone or their friends who they are texting. You’ll get instant eye contact, conversation, and connection. Plus you’ll feel more engaged in that precise moment. Bam. That’s the magic right there.
Also, this means making time for your love on the weekends and down time. Don’t over book or schedule yourself with social outings with friends only to invite your love to tag along. Make plans with just them. On purpose.
See, that’s it! I told you it was easy!
If you make the time today to do this I am 100% confident that your love will notice and be very happy and pleased with your attention. This small act today will make them feel your love, dedication, and willingness to make your relationship EPIC.
This adds up to big stuff, friends.
Give this a try today and hit reply to this let me know how it goes! I’d love to hear from you. And if you love this tip please share it with a friend.
Here’s to an EPIC 2020 friends and I’ll talk to you soon!
